"Kashi no Ya" is a traditional Japanese folk house (kominka) inn owned by a host who holds a qualification as a Sake Meister. The name "Kashi no Ie" (House of Oak) was given because the oak tree rooted to the south of the building has watched over and supported this home for generations.

Inside the building, there is a dining area created by renovating a traditional storehouse (kura), and sake from all over the country is available in the back of the storehouse. Upon request, the owner, a Sake Meister, will provide a sake tasting experience. (Includes appetizers / Advance application required) We also offer an optional experience to listen to vinyl records in the storehouse, allowing you to enjoy good old Japanese culture with all five senses.

Several hot springs (onsen) are scattered around the area, making it highly recommended as a base to heal the fatigue of your journey. It is also close to Ryuo Station, providing easy access to Kofu.

As it is a whole-house rental, even those with small children can use it with peace of mind. Please enjoy the relaxing flow of time with your companions.
